An NSD alumni and a professional editor having assisted Ketan Mehta in Mirch Masaala and Hiro Hiralal in the past, he also edited the award winning documentary film “6 Yards to democracy’ that went on to win the Best Documentary Award at Birdseye View International Women's Film festival, London, 2006
Vipin returned to India after a long hiatus armed with a decade long experience in Film Editing and having realized that his passion to act and perform is hardwired into his DNA. After doing diverse roles, Vipin feels that every film that he does should add an aroma to the diverse characters that he has essayed over a period of time.
Some of his notable works include films like Taare Zameen Par, Gangs of Wasseypur, Shahid, Yeh Saali Zindagi, Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Ranjhanaa, Lamhaa, Rang Rasiya, Kharthik Calling Karthik, John Day, Inkaar and Dhanak.
